This local chain definitely has a lot to offer. So far, we’ve only visited the Cumberland Mall location, but if the others are anything like this, than be sure to visit your nearest location for amazing food that balances nutrition with taste. The menu is just a little limited, but the trade off is that you get excellent quality for your food. The name definitely fits, as the ingredients are so fresh, you might think there’s a garden right behind the restaurant.
Dinner salads are perfectly sized, so you don’t feel like you’re eating a salad for 3 people, yet you are still perfectly satiated. With each salad, you also get your choice of protein source, be it from chicken, fish, eggs, tofu, or other brand of seafood. And they prepare each one exquisitely. If grilled is your preferred style, then get ready for perfection. The roaring fire in the not-so-hidden kitchen definitely sets the mood, and lets you know that everything is being prepared to order. Panini sandwiches are also grilled to perfection. I’m still waiting to head back for some calamari. The place also serves their so-called “long plates” which is basically a healthy-sized meat entree usually with a rice or potato base and small salad. Definitely try one of these. We had the Grilled Salmon, and we could not have asked for more.
For the price, you’re getting a perfectly sized meal, so you won’t walk out feeling you ate enough to feed a family of 5, yet you feel that you got just the right amount for your money. If you are a fan of Food Network, be sure to visit the Cumberland Mall location, which seems to have the channel on a 24/7 feed to the television monitors. It definitely helps stimulate the taste buds.
